His Highness Dr Adham Al Said is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the College of Economics and Political Science in Sultan Qaboos University. He was awarded his Masters degree from New York University and his PhD from the University of Western Australia. His postgraduate research focused on the Economic Integration of the Gulf Council Countries. Adham Al Said is also engaged in business and economic consulting for SMEs and other entities through a private company The Firm for Business and Economic Consulting. Recently he has been involved in policy initiatives relevant to development of SMEs in the Sultanate of Oman.

Vice Chairperson

Sayyida Rawan Ahmed Al Said is the Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of Takaful Oman. She has 23 years of experience in the investment field both in public and private sectors. Prior to joining Takaful Oman she was the Managing Director and Group CEO of ONIC Holding Group, she held the position of Deputy CEO at State General Reserve Fund of Oman. She is on the Board of a number of reputed companies and financial institutions in Oman and across the GCC. Sayyida Rawan holds a MSc in Economics & Finance from Loughborough University UK. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Investment Analysis from Stirling University, UK and BA in Economics & Political Science from the American University (AUC), Cairo.


Sayyid Mohamed Al Said, Chairman of Nobel Education Services LLC, is an entrepreneur and founder of a number of successful businesses in Oman. He is a Mechanical Engineer with Executive MBA from United Kingdom. He spent more than 10 years of his early carrier as an engineer with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) on sustainable and enhanced oil recovery technologies prior to embarking on his business endeavours. He is married and a father of three children.


Mr Sami Macki is a quad lingual mechanical engineer who has gained his experience working both locally and internationally over the years.  He now focuses most of his time on running the day to day activities of Al Mashriq including real estate development, trading and investments as well as engineering and consultancy.  He has served on the board of Bank Sohar and Gulf Hotels yet still maintains his passion for developing new businesses.

Kurt Berlin Nobel


As a trained scientist Dr. Berlin first pursued a career at Tufts University in Boston followed by the Max-Planck-Institute in Berlin, where he co-founded a successful Biotechnology company which went public in Frankfurt. Realising that excellent education is the key success factor for individuals and societies, Dr Berlin co-founded a chain of private bilingual schools in Germany in 2008 called Phorms. Two years later Dr Berlin became a co-founder and director of the Nobel Education Network and was instrumental in establishing OurPlanet International School in Muscat in partnership with Sayyid Mohamed Al Said. Today he is a director and a founder of Stepke, a chain of German Kindergartens, and director of the German branch of Scandinavia´s market leader in private education. Kurt is married and has two children.


Andre Haffner is a dynamic and self-driven management consultant who runs his own corporation successfully over the last two decades. Andre Haffner helped many leading organizations in their strategic and organizational planning processes. He taught various curricula including finance, management and leadership at HFW Zug (College of Higher Education and Training in Business Administration). He also served as principle at the bespoken school until 2017. Over the years he held a variety of teaching positions. He is a faculty expert for federal examinations where he also leads an international team of exam experts. Andre Haffner holds a MA from the University in St. Gallen, Switzerland and a teaching diploma. Andre Haffner has co-authored two instructional books about Project Management and Strategy Implementation.
