An informative assembly was held on February 6th 2018 by Students of EY2 accompanied by an experienced dental surgeon Dr. Abdul Malak from Harub Dental Surgery. Dr Malak explained to our students the significance of healthy diet and good oral hygiene.
Among the key notions students learned were:
- Brush your teeth 3 times a day, for 3 minutes each time.
- Avoid eating sugary foods and drinks on a daily basis as they feed bacteria which leads to cavities.
- Pack healthy snacks and lunches. The brain works better with healthy foods such as apples, celery and carrots.
